This beautiful timepiece is a vintage Hamilton Ross wristwatch dated from 1941. It is a manual-wind watch is powered by an original Hamilton mechanical movement, caliber grade 982, model 1 and adjusted three positions. It features 19 jewels, a sub-second hand, a 45-hour power reserve, and a frequency of 18,000 vph. Proudly made in the U.S.A.
What makes this timepiece even more remarkable is its movement family, 980/982, which was designed for high-grade, small-scale production. Approximately 1,400,000 pieces of this movement family (across all models) were produced between 1934 and 1954, making it a prized collector's item.
Cased in a 23.6x29.2mm rectangular case with a sophisticated 14K yellow gold construction and elegant lug design.
The original silver dial, which shows a touch of patina, features gold Arabic numerals, black railroad minute track, and matching gold hands. A small seconds sub-dial is positioned at 6 o’clock, and the dial is signed "Hamilton" at the top.
The watch is complemented by a brand-new brown textured leather strap.

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust the lighting, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
