This Swiss-made Galmor art deco wristwatch features two adjustments and six jewels, dating from approximately the 1910s-1920s. The dial is very attractive with luminous Arabic numbers and hands, and a sub-second hand. The hinged case is gorgeous, in 14K Rolled Gold Plate with a rose and leaf pattern embossed on the front of the bezel and lugs, with a fleur de lis-like pattern embossed on the sides of the bezel. The case was made by Diel Watch Case Company and measures 26 x 26 mm.

The bracelet is believed to be original, and is marked Kreisler Durobrite U.S. Pat. 2,064,760.

Though this piece was originally marketed for gentleman of the era, a modern-day lady could also enjoy this lovely art deco wristwatch. Bracelets and cases from the 1910s and 1920s were traditionally smaller than those made today. The case and bracelet are very smooth with a silky feel against the skin.

This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
